Behind the mask 'The World's Blackest Paint' has been used to give the look of total darkness as you look into his face. The images behind the mask are totally UN-edited nd that's exactly how it appears in person.
The figure comes with a 'Minas Morgul' display base, hand painted and finished with a glow in the dark paint to give it the subtle glow as seen in the movie (not pictured).
